[origin: WO02071911A1] The invention relates to a tilting joint (2) in the suction channel (9) of a vacuum cleaner, preferably for forming an attachment to a vacuum cleaner attachment (3), comprising an input channel section (5) and an output channel section (6). The aim of the invention is to produce a tilting joint for a vacuum cleaner suction channel in the above mentioned form, which is embodied in the form of a compact structure vis a vis the cross-sectional structure thereof and to improve the functional security thereof. As a result, the compatible circular shaped sections associated with the ends (7, 8) of the input channel section (5) and the output channel section (6) are embodied in such a way that they are telescopic when the sections are tilted with respect to each other.
