[origin: WO02070198A1] The invention relates to a hand tool machine which consists of a driveable disk-shaped tool (14), especially an angular grinding machine, a hand-guided circular saw or similar, which can be rotated about an axis of rotation (16), comprising a pivotable tool cover (22). According to the invention, the tool cover (22) has a substantially curved front face and is embodied in such a way that it can move substantially parallel to the plane of the disk-shaped tool (14) in order to release said tool, whereby the front face of the tool cover (22), when actuated, moves across at least one part of the surface of the disk-shaped tool (14) in a direction which is perpendicular to the peripheral direction thereof.
