[origin: WO02073056A1] A collar (40) consisting of loop-type elastic coupling elements (42) which each loop round a first moulded part (50) and a second moulded part (52) is arranged around a universal joint (12) comprising a first and a second essentially rigid joint body (14, 28). The first moulded parts (50) are rigidly connected to the first joint body (14) by means of a flange (22) and are arranged between the second moulded parts (52). The second moulded parts (52) are connected to a counter-flange (34) in a fixed manner, said counter-flange pertaining to a rotating body (62). Said rotating body forms an end of a torque transmission chain, the other end thereof representing the second joint body (28). The first joint body (14) comprises a tubular part (16) enveloping the second joint body (28), said tubular part comprising an outer generated surface (18) having a circular cross-section and supporting the elastic coupling elements (42) in the radial direction.
