[origin: FR2822246A1] The optical container manufacture process has an optical integrated circuit installed with connection pads and optical fibre connection. The assembly has mounted electrical connections (8) on a support slab (3), and optical components (4) fixed on the upper slab support (3a). Electrical pads (5) are connected to the optical component. Then the optical component is coupled to an optical fibre (6). Part of the assembly is encapsulated so that part of each pin protrudes and the fibre optic end part remains.
