Abstract (en)
The hand tool is for widening hollow bodies, particularly pipe ends, and comprises a housing (2) with a laterally extending first hand lever (3), and a second steel hand lever (7) pivotably connected to the housing by a shaft (5) on the side turned away from the first hand lever. The second lever supports a pinion sector (6) partly encompassing the shaft and guided away via the housing so that the first and second levers form tongs. In the housing is a through hole for guiding a steel toothed bar, of which one end inside the hole works in conjunction with the pinion sector so that a bracing pin is displaceable by the closure movement of the two levers. The housign with the hole and the first hand lever are made of light material from the group plastics and light metals and the housing together with the toothed bar form a low friction slide pairing of light material/steel.

Ein Handwerkzeug zum Aufweiten von Hohlkörpern enthält ein Gehäuse (2) mit einem seitlich abstehenden ersten Handhebel (3). Ein zweiter Handhebel (7), der aus Stahl besteht und über eine Welle (5) schwenkbar mit dem Gehäuse (2) verbundenen ist, trägt einen die Welle (5) umgebenden Ritzelsektor (6). Beide Handhebel (3, 7) bilden eine Zange. Im Gehäuse (2) ist eine Bohrung zur Führung einer aus Stahl bestehenden Zahnstange angeordnet, deren eines Ende innerhalb der Bohrung derart mit dem Ritzelsektor (6) zusammenwirkt, daß ein Spreizdorn durch eine Schließbewegung der beiden Handhebel (3, 7) nach außen verschiebbar ist. Dabei weist das Gehäuse Mittel auf, durch die ein Expansionskopf mit radial beweglichen Expanderbacken koaxial auf das nach außen verjüngte Ende des Spreizdornes aufsetzbar ist. Um sowohl das Gewicht als auch die Betätigungskräfte zu verringern, bestehen das Gehäuse (2) und dessen Handhebel (3) aus einem Leichtwerkstoff aus der Gruppe Kunststoffe und Leichtmetalle. Dadurch bildet das Gehäuse (2) zusammen mit der Zahnstange eine reibungsarme Gleitpaarung Leichtwerkstoff/Stahl. Vorzugsweise ist das Gewicht des mit dem Ritzelsektor (6) aus Stahl bestehenden zweiten Handhebels (7) durch mindestens eine öffnung (7d, 7e, 7g) zwischen den Flanschen(7a, 7b) weiter verringert. <IMAGE>
