Abstract (en)
Cold forming of a blank of press sintered material involves rolling following the approach and penetration of a blank with a tool of a pre-determined peripheral geometry. The cold forming by rolling of a blank of press sintered material, in which the blank is approached by a tool of pre-determined peripheral geometry includes a penetration phase after the approach phase. It also includes a rolling phase under an essentially constant pressure to a chosen position, the position and the corresponding number of passes being determined to control the densification of the surface and the dimensions of the rolled component. An Independent claim is also included for a programme for driving a numeric control device for operating this method of cold forming.

L'invention concerne un procédé de formage à froid par roulage d'une ébauche en matériau pressé-fritté. Ce procédé comprend le fait d'approcher de l'ébauche au moins un outil de géométrie périphérique pré-déterminé, pour faire rouler ensuite l'outil sur l'ébauche en les sollicitant l'un vers l'autre. De plus, ce procédé comprend , après une phase d'approche (a0) de l'ébauche, une phase de pénétration, avec: (bn) au moins une phase de roulage sous effort sensiblement constant, jusqu'à une position choisie, cet effort, la position choisie, et le nombre de passages correspondant étant déterminés pour contrôler la densification de surface et les dimensions de la pièce roulée. <IMAGE>
