The inclined coupling rod (8) has spherical section coupling rod end plates (9) on its ends with active rolling regions below the center line of the coupling rod linkage point (6) on the end of the higher of two carriages to be connected and above the center line of the coupling rod linkage point on the lower carriage. The force transfer points (11) are alternately vertically offset relative to the rod axis.

Die Schrägkuppelstange betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Verbinden, insbesondere von leichten und wirtschaftlichen Eisenbahntragwagen für den kombinierten Ladungsverkehr mit extremem Höhenversatz. Die Schrägkuppelstange 8 besitzt an ihren Enden zur Erzielung von Richtgelenkeffekten ballige Kuppelstangenendplatten 9, deren aktiver Abrollbereich 10 jeweils vertikal wechselseitig zur Längsachse der Kuppelstange 8 versetzt positioniert ist. Zur Erzielung hoher Richtgelenkwirkungen trotz der extremen vertikalen Schrägstellung der Kuppelstange 8 werden die Stützlagerplatten 7 nach der Beziehung tgα =((a ( halber Höhenversatz) ) / ( RV (vertikaler Abrollradius))) vertikal schräg nach dem Stützlagerschrägstellwinkel "α" angeordnet. <IMAGE>
