[origin: EP1369354A2] Packaging provided with an edge-reinforced suspension hole (4) comprises a cardboard blank (1) having a hole reinforcement consisting of a plastic film surrounding the hole. The plastic film extends over the entire edge strip including the location of the hole and surrounds the hole. An Independent claim is also included for the production of the above packaging. Preferred Features: A section with a further hole hangs on the end provided with the hole so that it can be folded. A plastic film located between the two sections with the holes is glued or welded to both sections.
