Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1369540A2] Building board comprises a layer of at least partly connected mineral fibers and an open pore framework between the mineral fibers. The pore framework is filled to at least 10, maximum 90 vol.% with a monolithic hardened material from at least one main surface (12) of the mineral fiber layer via a section (24) perpendicular to this main surface between 0.5 and 50% of the total thickness of the mineral fiber layer. Preferred Features: The monolithic hardened material is an inorganic material based on SiO2.
