Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1370116A1] The toaster heating element is formed from wound resistance wire inside a tube (2). The wire is retained by a bent-wire terminator (14) in contact with the resistance wire and shaped so that a fold (148) overlaps the edge of the tube and the terminator fits closely inside the tube to prevent radial movement. One end (146) of the terminator projects from the tube, parallel to the tube axis.
