Abstract (en)

[origin: WO02075215A1] The invention relates to a chimney stack (110, 210, 310, 410), comprising a closing plate (12) in which openings of an exhaust gas shaft (14) and an air/exhaust gas shaft (16) that are open towards the top, as well as disposed thereinbetween the opening of a fresh air shaft (18) that is open towards the top, are disposed side by side. An exhaust gas discharge neck (20) is provided above the opening of the exhaust gas shaft (14) and an air/exhaust gas discharge neck (22) is provided above the opening of the air/exhaust gas shaft (16), said air/exhaust gas discharge neck having at least one intake opening (24) for supply air close to the closing plate (12). The aim of the invention is to limit the recirculation rate of exhaust gas into the fresh air shaft or into the air inlet shaft of the air/exhaust gas shaft to less than 5 % even under unfavorable wind conditions. To this end, a guiding device (134, 234, 334, 434) is disposed above the opening of the fresh air shaft (18) and guides the exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust gas discharge neck (20) across the opening of the fresh air shaft (18) and across the intake opening (24) of the air/exhaust gas discharge neck (22).
