Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1371577A2] The multi-chamber sealed bag (10) has at least two chambers (12, 13) separated from each other fluid-tight by welded or sealed seams (11) which can be torn open under pressure to enable mixing of fluid contents. The front wall (14) and back wall are welded together along their outer edges (18) to define between same the first chamber whilst the second chamber (13) is contained inside the first. The seam separating the chambers has an ideal break point such as a point (21) projecting into one chamber so that when pressure is applied to the chamber in to which the point projects maximum pressure prevails at the point to enable the seam to be released.
