The carriage moves between processing stations (2) and has a stop wheel on a leading side in a running direction. A positioning device (4) has a stop that is pivoted into a movement path of the carriage and fixed to a driven pivoting shaft. A servomotor drives the stop and is connected directly to the shaft.
