[origin: WO02083514A1] Plastic carrier bags having two side walls (1,2) which are bonded to each other on the side edges thereof (3) and which have a reinforcing strip with a handle hole (10) being respectively secured to the upper end thereof just below the charging hole are already known per se. According to the invention, both reinforcing strips (7) are provided with a securing part (8) and a handle hole (9) part. The securing part is secured in a flat manner below the lower part of the respective side wall (1,2) and the handle hole part (9) protrudes with the handle hole (10) above the upper edge.
