[origin: WO02079553A2] The invention relates to a light-filter textile for protecting against the action and rays of light. Said textile comprises a flat material, preferably a polyester fabric with different light transmission capacities in one direction of the surface of the flat material, the structure of said flat material consisting of hybrid yarns or filaments. The light transmission capacity can differ continuously or in areas. The textile is used above all as a window blind, curtain etc. and is particularly suitable for rooms, in which people are working at computers and protection against unwanted light rays is required, without darkening the entire room.
