Abstract (en)

[origin: DE10117050C1] Process for purifying I.C. engine exhaust gas comprises: (1) producing a measuring signal depending on the lambda value of the exhaust gas downstream; and (2) using the signal during signal leveling of the post-cat lambda signal above a threshold value and the post-cat lambda signal during signal leveling during signal leveling below the threshold value. Process for purifying I.C. engine exhaust gas comprises: (1) producing a measuring signal depending on the lambda value of the exhaust gas downstream of the catalyst below a determined lambda value close to 1 and increasing or falling from the lambda value of the exhaust gas; and (2) using the signal during signal leveling of the post-cat lambda signal above a threshold value and the post-cat lambda signal during signal leveling during signal leveling below the threshold value.
