Abstract (en)

[origin: WO02077439A1] The invention relates to a connecting part for connecting a fuel line to a fuel injection valve, having a first connecting piece (2) that can be inserted into a locating hole in the fuel line and a first sealing element (7) that is arranged on the first connecting piece (2). The connecting part (1) has a second connecting piece (3) located on the end opposite to the first connecting piece (2). Said second connecting piece can be inserted in a recess in the fuel injection valve, a second sealing element (8) being arranged on said second connecting piece. A radially enlarged area (4) is formed between the first and the second connecting pieces (2, 3), whose junction to at least one of the connecting pieces (2, 3) is configured as a first bearing surface (5, 6) that rests with a corresponding surface on one of the adjacent components when the connecting part (1) is mounted.
