[origin: WO02068813A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve (1) for directly injecting fuel, in particular, into the combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing, spark-ignition internal combustion engine. The fuel injection valve is arranged in a cylinder head (2) of the internal combustion engine, in particular, inside an accommodating boring (8) of said cylinder head (2), and comprises a nozzle body (10) and a sealing ring (14) that seals the fuel injection valve (1) against the cylinder head (2) of the internal combustion engine. An at least partially spherical body (13) is provided on a discharge end (12) of the fuel injection valve (1) and at least partially rests against a wall (9) of the accommodating boring (8), whereby a groove (15) is provided on the circumference of the body (13) in order to accommodate the sealing ring (14).
