[origin: WO02075150A1] The invention relates to a 3/2 way valve for controlling fuel injection in a common rail injection system of an internal combustion engine. The inventive valve has a first position in which an injection nozzle communicates with a fuel return and a second position in which the injection nozzle communicates with a high-pressure fuel accumulator. In order to improve function and quality of injection, the 3/2 valve comprises two force-compensated control pistons (21, 22) that are guided separately from each other and on which a respective valve seat edge (24, 30) is configured.
