The chair (10) is assembled of four legs (12), the rear legs extending to the top and forming the vertical elements (13) of the back part, the horizontal element (14) of the back part, and a frame (11) made of four specifically bent parts (16, 17). The two lateral parts (16) are u-shaped, open to the sides and provided with an insertion pin (18) at both ends. The front, the rear part (17) respectively is also provided with an insertion pin (18) at both ends and u-shaped but its ends are bent a second time in order to be parallel positioned to the outer ends of the side parts (16) when joined. The pins (18) are inserted into openings (19) located at the inner side of the legs (12, 15) and fixed with a glue. The frame (11) is ideally made of plywood or of aluminum bars.

Der Stützrahmen weist zwei Typen von Zargen (16,17) auf. Die eine Zarge (16) hat U-förmige Gestalt mit Biegungen (20). Die andere Zarge (17) hat Biegungen (21), die sich von außen an die Biegungen (20) der ersten Zarge anschmiegen und eine daran anschließende gegensinnige Biegung (22). Aufgrund der Biegungen hat der Stützrahmen eine große Stabilität und Formsteifigkeit. Er besteht vorzugsweise aus Schichtholz. Eckverbinder werden nicht benötigt. <IMAGE>
