[origin: EP1375125A1] The cutting device includes a cutting plate (24) which rotates to move the cutter (40) onto the fold edge (b) of the handle strip (2) and pierce it as the rotary motion continues. As the cutter rotates further, it come out of the cross section of the handle strip. From this point onwards, the handle strip is no longer being cut.
