[origin: EP1375189A1] Production of an image-transfer film involving coating a carrier (11) with a clear lacquer (12), applying an image-forming toner substrate (13) and then covering with a layer of liquid adhesive (14) further involves removing layer (14) from the clear lacquer layer (12), thus allowing liquid adhesive into toner substrate (13). An Independent claim is also included for an imaging film comprising a clear lacquer layer (12) with an adhesive-containing toner substrate (13).
