Abstract (en)
An ignition aid comprises a paraffin soaked wood wool cord section. The circumference of the wood wool cord section has numerous wood shavings (1, 2) covered with paraffin, and the paraffin density is greater in the middle of the cord than at the edges. The aid is formed by dipping the cord (4) into warm liquid paraffin (8) in a bath (7), removing it, allowing it to cool, and then cutting it into sections (9-11).

Es wird eine Anzündhilfe zum Anzünden von festen Brennstoffen, wie Holz und Holzkohle, insbesondere für die Anwendung in Feuerstätten, für feste Brennstoffe, wie Kamin, Kaminofen, Kachelofen jeder Bauart und Holzkohlegrillgeräte, vorgeschlagen, die als ein mit Paraffin getränkter naturbelassener Holzwolle-Seilabschnitt mit einer definierten Restfeuchte ausgebildet ist, wobei das Paraffin einen festen, wachsartigen Paraffinkern bildet. Am Umfang der Anzündhilfe stehen eine Vielzahl von mit Paraffin überzogene Holzwollespäne (1, 2) ab. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
