Abstract (en)
Weft insertion in a jet weaving machine involves, in each work cycle, drawing off from a winding drum of a thread supply apparatus a weft thread of predetermined length which is to be inserted, and interrupting the drawing off of the weft thread to be inserted at least once in such a manner that a first and a further predetermined thread length is released for the drawing off from the winding drum. Weft insertion in a jet weaving machine involves, in each work cycle, drawing off from a winding drum of a thread supply apparatus a weft thread (S1) of predetermined length which is to be inserted. The weft thread is inserted into an open shed via a main nozzle (11) which is fed with a transport medium, is bound into the cloth (G) through the channel of shed, and is severed at the cloth edge which is near the main nozzle. In each work cycle, the drawing off of the weft thread to be inserted is interrupted at least once in such a manner that a first predetermined thread length is released for the drawing off from the winding drum, and at least one further predetermined thread length is also released for the drawing off from the winding drum. Independent claims are also included for: (a) an apparatus for the weft insertion in a jet weaving machine, which comprises a thread supply apparatus (2) having a winding drum from which, in each work cycle, a weft thread of predetermined length to be inserted can be drawn off, a main nozzle for the insertion of the weft thread into an open shed (17), a severing device (16) for severing the weft thread at the cloth edge near the main nozzle, and a mechanism for interrupting the drawing off of the weft thread to be inserted at least once in each work cycle; and (b) a jet weaving machine comprising the apparatus for weft insertion.

Es wird ein Verfahren für den Schusseintrag bei einer Düsenwebmaschine vorgeschlagen, bei welchem in jedem Arbeitszyklus ein einzutragender Schussfaden (S1) vorgebbarer Länge von einer Wickeltrommel (3) einer Fadenzuliefervorrichtung (2) abgezogen wird, der Schussfaden (S1) mittels einer Hauptdüse (11), die mit einem Transportmedium gespeist wird, in ein geöffnetes Webfach (17) eingetragen wird, durch den Fachwechsel in das Gewebe (G) eingebunden wird, und an der der Hauptdüse (11) zugewandten Warenkante geschnitten wird. In jedem Arbeitszyklus wird das Abziehen des einzutragenden Schussfadens (S1) mindestens einmal unterbrochen, derart, dass zunächst eine erste vorgebbare Fadenlänge zum Abziehen von der Wickeltrommel (3) freigegeben wird und anschliessend mindestens noch eine weitere vorgebbare Fadenlänge zum Abziehen von der Wickeltrommel (3) freigegeben wird. <IMAGE>
