[origin: EP1375782A2] The protective box structure (1), for the connections to join concrete sections, is an integral one-piece hollow profile which is sealed against liquid concrete by its base (2) and both side walls (3) and its cover (4). The profile can be open at one or both end sides. It is of metal or plastics, formed by extrusion, injection molding or die casting. The structure has a trapezoid shape, with molded side bars (11,12) to allow concrete to flow around them and give embedded side walls.
