Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1375924A2] The housing of a rotary pump has two housing sections (2,3) each formed integrally. Coaxial to one housing section (2) is an inlet stub (5). The other housing section (3) has a fastening flange (10) positioned inside of the turbine (7) and outside of the housing. The housing forms an annular chamber surrounding the turbine and without vanes or cross sectional reduction.
