[origin: EP1376045A1] The adaptor mechanism (10) is placed between a projectile (12) and a tubular launcher (14). A retention ring (22) is mounted on the launch tube with the adaptor holding the projectile. The projectile has folded winglets held in a first portion (38) of the adaptor and attachment means.
