[origin: EP1376047A2] A projectile comprises a splitter forming outer sleeve (2) and an inner plastic film (3) which joins onto it and which holds an explosive charge. The plastic film has a structured region (5) composed of corrugations (4), and smooth regions (7,8) at each end. The structured region consists of a plastic which is stiff, while the smooth sections consist of an elastic plastic.
