There is described an environment control system (1) for controlling access to premises. The environment control system (1) includes a number of removable, easy-to-transport subsystems communicating with one another over a wireless connection (2), in particular by radio transmission. More specifically, the environment control system (1) substantially includes a central control unit (3); one or more manned pay stations (4); one or more automatic pay stations (5); one or more control devices (6) controlling entrances/exits of the premises and commonly known as turnstiles; one or more information and internal monitoring devices (7); and one or more information and external monitoring devices (8). <IMAGE>
