[origin: EP1376493A2] Jackpot game arrangement, whereby a number of coin-operated gaming machines are connected to a jackpot gaming arrangement with a display for displaying the current amount of a jackpot. At the end of a game or session, on a gaming machine, a symbol combination is displayed with an additional display device and if the symbol combination matches that of the jackpot, the jackpot is won.
