[origin: EP1376773A2] The coaxial connector has a plug section (7) that receives the contact sleeve (9) fitted onto the cable (1). The outer conductor (3) is engaged by a contact . Fitted into grooves in the inside of the sleeve is an elastomer sealing ring (10). This has internal raised lips (10b,c) that fit firmly against the cable.
