Abstract (en)
The static electricity reduction mechanism reduces the static voltage whilst connecting (7) a cable. There is a cover (11) with an enclosing wall (11b) having crossing holes (11c) above the ends of the conductor wire (5) and which have a voltage level below that of the operator. When the operator touches the cover a discharge is created, removing operator static electricity.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de réduction de la tension, due à l'électricité statique, d'un opérateur afin de protéger ce dernier contre une activation intempestive d'un dispositif de protection des occupants d'un véhicule automobile. Le dispositif est caractérisé en ce que le couvercle (11) comporte des orifices traversant (11c) situés au-dessus des extrémités dénudées (5a) des fils conducteurs (5) logés dans le boîtier (8) du connecteur (7) pour provoquer un arc électrique de décharge directement entre le doigt posé sur le couvercle (11) et l'un quelconque des fils dénudés sous-jacents (5a). L'invention trouve application dans le domaine de l'automobile. <IMAGE>
