[origin: WO02082981A1] The invention relates to a method and to a device for the adjustment, the so-called registering, of tissue data, especially of the eye, that are optically acquired at temporal intervals. At least during a first and a second tissue data acquisition a first or a second optical position measurement and detection of position coordinates of structures (4; 4a; 4b) that are marked in the area of an outer tissue surface (1) and that have a substantially fixed position relative to the surface (1) is carried out in such a manner that no substantial change of position of the marked structures (4; 4a; 4b) occurs between the respective tissue data acquisition and the pertaining position measurement. By adjusting the position coordinates of said marked structures (4; 4a; 4b) obtained from the first and second position measurement the data sets obtained from the at least two tissue data acquisitions are spatially adjusted to one another. The invention is characterized in that the marked structures (4; 4a; 4b) are detected in a (planar) imaging manner and that the position coordinates of the marked structures (4; 4a; 4b) in all three directions in space are calculated from these images. The invention further relates to a device for carrying out the inventive method.
