Abstract (en)
[origin: WO02066032A1] A method for treatment of the symptoms of a psychosis-especially for treatment of schizophrenia. The treatment consists of repeated oral administration of a flavonoid. Quercetin is effective as are a number of other flavonoids including flavones such as luteolin. Flavonoids appear to operate by reducing the activity of hSKCa3 ion channels.
