[origin: WO02074675A1] A device for attaching an end in the reeling of a wire (8), flexible pipe or similar, on to a drum-like rotating reel (1), in which the first free end portion of the wire (8) is connected to the reel (1) by an adhesive tape (5a) being attached to the reel (1) by means of an adhesive tape dispenser (5), and in which the wire (8) is inserted between the reel (1) and the adhesive tape (5a), so that the adhesive tape (5a) adheres to the wire (8), thereby pulling the wire (8) on to the rotating reel (1), and in which an air nozzle (12), which is arranged to blow the adhesive tape (5a) in towards the reel (1) is disposed downstream of the adhesive tape dispenser (5) and is preferably connected to the adhesive tape dispenser (5).
