[origin: WO03062735A1] The invention relates to an armoured vehicle, especially a combat tank, comprising a shell carried by a tracked undercarriage, in which at least part of the crew is situated. Said combat tank comprises a mine protection device in that the base plate (1) of the shell is reinforced on its outer side by reinforcing sheets (3) which are connected to the base plate (1) in a fixed manner. The reinforcing plates are fixed (3) in the region of the shell flanges (l. l) of the base plate (1) by means of screw connections comprising a fixing thread (4.1) which is inserted into the area defined by the shell flange (1.1) in a fixed manner. A fixing screw (6) which penetrates the reinforcing sheet (3) and is anchored therein can be screwed into the fixing thread, and the head of the fixing screw (6) can be anchored in an anchoring sleeve (5) which is welded into the reinforcing sheet (3). The fixing thread (4.1) can be cut into a fixing sleeve (4) which is welded into a closing element (2) which downwardly closes the area defined by the shell flange (1.1).
