[origin: WO02084677A1] The invention relates to a component, for example, a coil, for assembly on circuit supports, such as, for example, circuit boards, comprising a winding support for housing at least one winding. The winding support (10) has fixing elements (2, 3, 4, 5) on the underside thereof, by means of which the above may be fixed to the circuit support (100). In one embodiment the winding support is essentially cylindrical in form. The fixing elements (2, 3, 4, 5) are advantageously sprung and embodied as, for example, clips.
