At least one additional conveyor part (8) with a profiling (9) is provided in between the conveyor belt (5) and cutting device (3). The profiling is designed to make the additional conveyor part penetrate into the foodstuff (2). The conveyor device (4) uses at least one endless conveyor belt to supply a foodstuff to a cutting device, where it is preferably cut into cubes or strips. An Independent claim is also included for a cutting machine (1) with a cutting device and the above conveyor device.

Eine Vorrichtung zur Zuführung von Lebensmitteln (2) zu einer Schneideinrichtung (3), insbesondere zum Schneiden in Streifen- oder Würfelform, weist wenigstens ein umlaufendes Förderband (5) auf, auf welchem das Lebensmittel (2) angeordnet ist. In Förderrichtung des Lebensmittels (2) zwischen dem Förderband (5) und der Schneideinrichtung (3) sind ein oder mehrere zusätzliche Förderelemente (8) angeordnet, welche eine Profilierung (9) aufweisen, die dazu geeignet ist, das zusätzliche Förderelement (8) in das Lebensmittel (2) eindringen zu lassen. <IMAGE>
