Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1378417A1] An eccentric bolt (EB) (1) has a cylinder (3) with an eccentric mounting for adjusting switch blade clearance on a set of railway points,. A fixing disk (5) ensures an adjusted position and acts as a safety-related recoil surface, because the EB moves radially and on-axis. A screw (7) forces a self-locking cone (2) into a larger cylinder on the EB.
