Abstract (en)
The tubular area (21,21';23,23') is produced on one needle bed while a proportion of the needles holds stitches of the base structure (20,20') without knitting. The remaining needles form knitted rows for the production of the tubular area in accordance with the required periphery. In a final row of the tubular section, the needles holding the stitches of the base structure will resume stitch formation. As a result, the free ends of the tubular section are connected to the base structure.

Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Gestricks mit einem Grundgestrick und mindestens einem tubusförmigen, sich quer zur Strickrichtung erstreckenden Strickbereich (21, 21', 23, 23') auf einer Flachstrickmaschine mit mindestens zwei gegenüberliegenden Nadelbetten, wobei der oder die Tubusbereiche (21, 21', 23, 23') jeweils auf einem Nadelbett hergestellt werden, wobei ab einer Startstrickreihe (15, 15') ein Teil der Nadeln (B, F, J, N, d, h, l) jeweils Maschen des Grundgestricks hält ohne zu stricken und mit den anderen Nadeln Strickreihen zur Herstellung des Tubusbereichs entsprechend dem gewünschten Umfang gebildet werden, bevor in einer Endstrickreihe (16, 16') des Tubusbereichs auch wieder mit den Maschen des Grundgestricks haltenden Nadeln (B, F, J, N, d, h, l) Maschen gebildet werden, wodurch das freie Ende des Tubusbereichs mit dem Grundgestrick verbunden wird. <IMAGE>
