Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1378603A2] In a process to convert a paper-making machine (10a), a prior-art glue-press station (17a) is replaced by non-contact application station for liquid or paste agent. The conversion is made to the adhesive discharge station processing one or both sides of the web (M). Also claimed is a commensurate converted paper-making machine and a process to operate the same. The liquid or paste are applied as a jet or as a curtain.
