[origin: EP1378665A1] The pump has two diametrically-opposed inlet chambers (10,11) and diametrically-opposed outlet chambers (12,13). The vanes (7) slide in slots (6) in the rotor (5) and move in and out in accordance with the contour of the pump ring. Fluid may be brought to the pump in a line (28) leading from a reservoir with a spring (30) and a piston (29). It leaves the pump via a main line (14) with a throttle valve (27).
