[origin: WO02084057A1] The invention relates to a fixing device for a fitting element on a profiled bar that has a profiled groove, open towards the exterior, on the fastening side, which comprises rim lips facing each other and delimiting the opening of the profiled groove. The fitting element is associated with a clamping element that can be tensioned against the fastening element by means of at least one fastener that extends through the opening of the profiled groove. The clamping element (40) comprises at least two parts (50, 60) that are adapted to be inserted through the opening (8) of the profiled groove (4) and to be positioned in such a manner that the parts (50, 60) engage behind one rim lip (7) of the profiled groove (4) each.
