Abstract (en)
The double-knit fabric (10) has a reverse surface (13) and a right surface (12), linked together by yarns (14) between them. The yarns at the right surface give a lower surface cover than at the reverse surface. The yarns at the right surface give a lower surface cover than at the reverse surface. A second set of linking yarns (15) gives a different cover from the first set, so that their patterns are inverted and complement each other so that the reverse surface shows a translucent patterning by the linking yarns from the right surface. A translucent thermoplastic layer can cover one and/or the other surface of the fabric.

Tricot double face (10) comportant une face envers (13) et une face endroit (12), reliées par des rangées d'un fil de liage (14) travaillant avec les deux faces (12,13). Les fils de la face endroit ont un faible pouvoir couvrant, et le tricot comporte un second fil de liage (15) de pouvoir couvrant différent du premier fil de liage (14), les deux fils de liage travaillant soit l'un soit l'autre avec la face endroit (12), selon une répartition définissant des motifs (16,17), de sorte que la face envers (13) apparaît au travers des motifs translucides (17) définis par le fil de liage de plus faible pouvoir couvrant (14) sur la face endroit (12). <IMAGE>
