Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1380730A1] The silencer has diverting elements (13, 14, 15, 16) in the form of disk-shaped elements (17) with slots in them. They extend over the clear cross section of the casing (2). Guide elements (18) of the adjacent diverting element bounding the slot divert the flow in different ways relative to the casing axis (19').
