[origin: WO02073026A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve (1), particularly for directly injecting fuel into the combustion chamber of a mixture compressing, spark ignition internal combustion engine. The fuel injection valve comprises a valve housing formed by a nozzle body (2) and a sealing ring (34) which seals the fuel injection valve (1) in relation to a cylinder head (42) in the internal combustion engine. The sealing ring (34) is externally conically profiled, whereby the external radius of the sealing ring (34) and a projection (35) protruding over the nozzle body (2) on the sealing ring (34) increases in the direction of discharge.
