[origin: EP1382284A1] A symmetrical double channel (3) is provided in a central part of the front side of the heater and this channel extends over part of the height or length of this side of the heater. The channel is formed by deflectors (3a, 3b) oriented towards the left and right sides of the heater or towards the top and bottom sides of the heater. A flow of hot air is generated by a ventilation box (4) connected to a conduit (6) integrated into the heater casing (1), the conduit being provided with two rows of holes (7) oriented in the direction of the deflectors. Hot air leaves the conduit via these holes and is distributed via the channel so that it follows two substantially parallel towels (10) located on the front side of the heater. The front side of the heater is vertical and includes at least one horizontal towel rail (9). The heater is an electric one.
