[origin: EP1382564A1] The suspension adapter with a centering adapter and a distance piece (2) with a base plate (3), at a bottle filling machine, has a telescopic guide rod in a number of component parts. The first telescopic rod section (4) at the base plate extends vertically upwards to an intermediate piece (5), which slides over the first rod. A guide (6) at the top of the first rod gives the sliding action of the intermediate piece over it in all positions. The intermediate piece slides within a guide sleeve (7).
