Abstract (en)
Phosphate pre-mixes for use in washing and detergent agents contain (wt) at least 50 % pentasodium triphosphate (STP), less than 5 % Na pyrophosphate and a maximum of 18% water and are in the form of agglomerates of primary particles. An Independent claim is also included for preparation of phosphate pre-mixes by agglomerating anhydrous STP powder (and optionally also further washing or detergent agent ingredients) with 12-28 wt.% water in a high-speed mixer and then drying the product in a fluidized bed with product temperature below 60 degreesC to a free-water content below 5 wt.%.
