[origin: EP1382791A1] Guide bolt (10) for guiding a slat (1) of a slatted shutter in a guide rail (2) having a guide slit (8) has a first end (3) which is fixed to the slat and a second end (4) with a retaining element (5) for inserting in the guide slit. The retaining element is at least partly movable and as it nears the guide slit in a fixed insertion direction (E) it is deformed by two side walls (11, 12) so that it can penetrate the guide slit. After penetrating the guide slit it resumes its original form. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Process for mounting a slatted shutter consisting of slats provided with the above guide bolt; (2) Slat for a slatted shutter; and (3) Slatted shutter. Preferred Features: The guide bolt is made in one piece, preferably from plastic in an injection molding process.
